Overview

The EAT Project offers a tiered level of analysis, "right sized" to meet USAID needs, budgets and other relevant constraints. AgBEE snapshots provide a low-cost, rapid response tool to identify a broad list of policy issues and programming gaps. Deeper-dive analysis of the agribusiness enabling environment is provided through AgCLIR and VcCLIR diagnostics, which identifies AgBEE constraints and recommends a prioritized agenda for action.

EAT is designed to make Mission support easy.

  • Rapid response: EAT teams are deployable within 6 weeks of the initial request.
  • Light footprint: Logistics and scheduling are independently managed and do not require significant mission involvement.
  • Prompt results: EAT can quickly produce world class analysis, recommendations and action plans.
  • Easy Buy-in: EAT does not require a new task order - US Agencies can simply buy into the project and transfer funds through the GLAAS system.
